GENOA, Italy (Reuters) — An Italian court found 15 police officers guilty on Monday of beating protesters at the Group of 8 summit meeting in Genoa in 2001. It sentenced them to prison terms ranging from five months to five years. Thirty defendants were acquitted. All of those convicted are expected to appeal; none can go to prison until the appeals process is complete, which normally takes years.
